Product introduction:

Provides a refreshing sweetness and masks odors:Sodium saccharin is approximately 300-500 times sweeter than sucrose. Only an extremely small amount (usually 0.01%-0.1%) needs to be added to produce a distinct sweetness, effectively masking the bitterness and metallic taste of raw materials in toothpaste (such as certain fluorides and antibacterial ingredients). It makes the brushing process more pleasant, and is particularly suitable for children’s toothpaste and mild adult toothpaste.
Enhances flavor coordination:When paired with fragrances such as menthol, spearmint, and fruit flavors, sodium saccharin can enhance the layering of flavors, prevent the fragrance from being overly prominent, and improve the taste comfort of the product (e.g., in children’s fruit-flavored toothpaste, sodium saccharin can intensify the fresh sweetness of fruit flavors and reduce irritation).
No caloric burden, meeting health needs:Sodium saccharin does not participate in human metabolism and produces almost no calories. It complies with the “low-calorie, healthy” consumption trend and is suitable for toothpaste formulas designed for sugar-sensitive groups (such as diabetics).
Application:

High chemical stability, fits all toothpaste types:Stable in acid/alkaline (toothpaste pH 6.5-8.5) and heat (≤100℃). Compatible with abrasives (e.g., silica), humectants (e.g., glycerin), surfactants (e.g., SLS). Suitable for gel, paste, foam toothpastes.

Low cost, high cost-effectiveness:Cheaper than natural sweeteners (e.g., stevia, erythritol). Small dosage cuts raw material costs. Ideal for mass-produced budget toothpaste.

High safety, meets international standards:Proven safe via long-term toxicology studies. Approved as food/oral care additive by global authorities.
